Unity Light of the World was founded and established in 1982, in the North Dade community that is now Miami Gardens, Florida. Worship service is held at 10:45 am on Sunday morning, beginning with Praise and Worship songs.

The church is currently conducting a search for a new minister, and in the interim, is being managed by the Board of Trustees whose members are:

Prayer is a foundational value in Unity, thus mid-week Divine Love Prayer Circle has always been held to encourage prayer and meditation as a spiritual discipline. Other ministries include the Youth and Family Ministry, and the Social Action Ministry.
